...thank you very much for all your kindnesses and helpfulness during our stay at your fabulous resort. We would have loved to stay longer at your resort and explore the countryside. Two nights was not long enough. Next time.
Once again many thanks

This really is a great hotel. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay here. It's tranquil, peaceful and the perfect place to unwind and de-stress. The hotel is perched on a ridge with fabulous views over the Ponmudi Resevoir. It has probably the best views of any hotel I've stayed in.
What also makes this a very good hotel is the staff, the food and the rooms. The staff are extremely friendly, nothing is too much trouble and you are treated like a VIP from start to finish. The food is really great too. The chef is excellent and they specialise in Kerala cuisine and, although it's first authentic Indian food I have had, every meal was superb. Breakfast is good also with a healthy mix of western and Indian food. Finally the rooms are lovely - spacious, modern, clean and with amazing balconies overlooking the jungle and resevoir.
The resort is still being finished although the hotel part is 95% complete so you will have to put up with a few workmen here and there but it didn't spoil our holiday. There is a good few things to do too. Ask about the short treks, cycling, fishing and day trips. The small infinity pool is also lovely but there isn't much room. If the hotel is full I'd get there early to avoid disappointment! The location of the hotel is a bit remote. We loved it as it was what made the hotel - out of the way, secluded, peaceful. But be aware, if you are travelling there yourself, the roads are typically Indian - in a poor state of repair and quite dangerous. Ring the hotel and they will be able to sort out a transfer for you which is probably the best way to do it. You are also a good hour from Munar by car so do allow plenty of time if your heading out on excursions. Value? Not the cheapest around and the food is a little expensive by Indian standards. However, for the quality, I think it's about right and with this resort you get what you pay for.
In general, we loved the place - friendly, relaxing and with great food. Thanks very much.

We had a very good time at Ragamaya resort, when we stayed there last week. We felt close to nature and loved the hospitality and friendliness of the people there especially Anil. It is the perfect place recommended for people looking forward to have a peaceful vacation even though slightly away from Munnar, you will not regret. The service provided by them is exceptional , too good. The food is like home cooked and the various activities arranged for the guests are very nice. Thanks a lot Anil and team! Keep up the good work!

After cardamom plantation I was invited to a new resort in a natural park just 22 kilometers from where I was. The beauty of the location, where Ragamaya resort is situated, is beyond expectation.
All rooms are modern and comfortable, with a balcony having a fantastic view of the natural park, Ponmudi and the Panniar river, where you can spend hours and hours watching the tones and colors of the picture in front of you keep changing.
The second day, we did a morning walk down to the lake.
Once down I enjoyed the solitude of the place and the beautiful light. First thing that took my attention was reflections in the river, a spectacular symmetry, which looked like a face or faces ... Everyone will find an illusion of something or the other in those reflections.
During the ride we saw a lot of birds, which took off from the water, as we approached them.
Going up the hill was also really fun, through the jungle, and almost like trekking at several stretches, through large rocks and fields full of lemon grass. After reaching the top of the hill we strolled through small farms with tapioca and banana groves.
The Ragamaya resort is a good place to get lost and enjoy the solitude in the mountains of Munnar, with beautiful scenery in front.
